Chief Executive Officer, Totally Group
Wendy has worked in healthcare for almost 40 years, holding roles within the NHS and the private sector. She built her experience in frontline clinical roles with Derbyshire Ambulance Service before moving into NHS leadership roles where she was CEO for three primary care trusts and part of numerous national strategic projects supporting the NHS to ensure services were developed to address the changing needs of the population of England and Wales.
Wendy ran her own business, working with US-based healthcare organisations and BUPA, before joining Totally as CEO in 2013.
Working as part of the Board of Totally to deliver its buy and build strategy, Wendy has worked closely with investors to raise capital and acquire six businesses to date while delivering upon Totally’s organic growth strategy. Wendy recognises the importance of quality services and the need to recruit talented individuals to help drive the business forward.
Wendy is passionate about delivering continuous improvement to ensure patients can access appropriate services quickly and receive the best possible care from every part of the Totally Group.
Chief Financial Officer, Totally Group
Lisa has been a chartered accountant for more than 20 years and has extensive finance experience built over 13 years working in finance in the independent healthcare sector.
Lisa joined Totally in August 2017 and is responsible for finance, IT and digital services alongside contracting and procurement.
Prior to joining Totally, Lisa was the head of divisional finance for the healthcare division of Care UK and was employed by Care UK for more than ten years in a senior finance capacity. Care UK is England’s largest independent provider of NHS services and has a diverse portfolio of healthcare services which include elective surgery treatment centres, provision of healthcare in UK prisons, urgent care centres, GP OOH and NHS 111 services. Lisa was financial controller at Mercury Health Ltd during which time she established a team and implemented finance processes and systems prior to the company’s acquisition by Care UK in 2007. The healthcare division of Care UK continued to grow to become a £380m revenue business.
Lisa started her finance career at Ernst & Young in 1990 where she qualified as a chartered accountant and she has also held roles as finance manager in both Hewlett Packard and Oracle.
Clinical Quality Director, Totally Group
Gloria joined the Board of Totally in December 2017 as Clinical Quality Director.
Gloria had a 40-year career within the NHS, initially in both adult and children’s nursing, practising for ten years in A&E but ultimately as head of nursing for a large integrated service. Her NHS management career has covered a wide range of services rising to group operations director for one of the largest acute trusts in the UK managing three district general hospitals.
In five years of independent practice Gloria has fulfilled roles as interim deputy COO, director of transformation and professional consultant undertaking service reviews. Gloria currently also acts as a non-executive director of companies operating within the retail sector.
Director of HR and Recruitment, Totally Group
Jayne joined Totally in September 2020 and leads the HR, Recruitment and Learning and Organisational Development teams.
Jayne has over 15 years’ experience of working in the NHS, private healthcare and AIM listed companies and is an experienced senior executive and Group HRD with skills in strategy, culture change, executive coaching, organisational design and development, L&D, start-ups, mergers and acquisitions.
Managing Director, Urgent Care
Andy joined Totally as Managing Director of Vocare in 2017 and was appointed as Managing Director of the Urgent Care Division in 2020.
Prior to joining Totally, Andy was CEO of Hardwick CCG. He is an experienced leader with a deep understanding of care provision and the complex delivery of changing systems across organisations.
With a career spanning 30 years in healthcare Andy has a good strategic understanding of care needs, successfully leading teams through major changes and developing resilient models of care to meet the changing needs of populations. He is a successful and dynamic system leader with a strong track record of creating and maintaining high performing teams and organisations.
Managing Director, Planned Care
Richard was appointed Managing Director of Totally’s Planned Care Division in 2019, having joined Totally through the acquisition of About Health in 2016.
Richard is skilled at leading people and developing highly skilled teams to meet ever changing demands of healthcare. He has more than 30 years’ experience of NHS and private healthcare having worked in board-level positions for many years.
Joint Managing Director and Medical Director, Pioneer Healthcare
Prasad was appointed Joint Managing Director and Medical Director of Pioneer following the acquisition in 2022.
Prasad is a consultant paediatric urologist and honorary senior lecturer at the University of Sheffield. He is also the deputy medical director of Sheffield Children’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust responsible for all governance, quality and safety issues.
Joint Managing Director, Pioneer Healthcare
John was appointed Joint Managing Director of Pioneer following the acquisition in 2022. John is an adult neurosurgeon with a special interest in spinal surgery and paediatric neurosurgery.
John was previously the head of department of neurosurgery at Sheffield Teaching Hospital, one of the biggest neurosurgery departments in the UK. He is a member of a number of peer review committees in England including the Paediatric Brain Tumour Registry and the Paediatric Head Injury Group. John provides day to day operational guidance to the team in his role as MD.
Joint Managing Director, Pioneer Healthcare
Hesham was appointed Joint Managing Director of Pioneer on the acquisition of Pioneer in 2022. Hesham is a specialist neurosurgeon with expertise in spinal surgery and paediatric neurosurgery.
He is the head of department of paediatric neurosurgery at Sheffield Children’s Hospital and has overseen the transformation of the department into a world-class unit with some of the best outcomes and infrastructure in the UK. He is also the clinical director of the division of surgery and critical care incorporating a vast portfolio and responsibilities. Hesham has a wealth of experience in managing large organisations in the UK and provides a leadership role within the organisation.
Managing Director, Energy Fitness Professionals
Alan joined Totally on the acquisition of Energy Fitness Professionals in December 2021 and has 30 years’ experience of working in the corporate fitness and wellbeing sector. With a passion for health and fitness he started his career as a coach delivering face to face services to members, whilst developing his management skills and seeking opportunities for starting his own business.
Alan formed Energy Fitness Professionals (“EFP”) in 1998 with his business partner Rob Radford, delivering bespoke fitness and wellbeing centres to a range of corporate clients, central government departments and higher education institutions. Over 23 years EFP grew to 54 sites across the UK.
