Our people

Wendy has worked in healthcare for 40 years, 23 of which were within the NHS. She built her experience in frontline clinical roles with Derbyshire Ambulance Service before moving into NHS leadership roles where she was CEO for three primary care trusts and part of numerous national strategic projects focused on ensuring NHS services addressed the changing needs of the population.

Wendy ran her own business, working with US‑based healthcare organisations and Bupa before joining Totally as CEO in 2013.

Wendy recognises the importance of recruiting talented individuals to help drive the business forward. She is passionate about delivering high quality and responsive services to ensure patients can access the appropriate care quickly.

Laurence joined Totally in 2022 as Director of Finance and became Chief Financial Officer in August 2024.  He has a career in finance spanning more than 35 years, with ten years at Director level. Most recently, Laurence has held Finance Director roles in Private equity and energy start-ups, including WM5G, Tonik Energy and extraenergy, building upon previous roles at EON, Virgin Media and Lloyds Bank where he qualified as an accountant.

He has been an expedition helper for the Duke of Edinburgh award for more than 12 years and is Treasurer & Member of the Trustee Board for the Institute of Money Advisers.

John was appointed Medical Director for Totally with effect from 1 January 2023. This role provides leadership across the Group for our medical and clinical staff as well as providing strategic advice to the Board on future growth opportunities. John also ensures that Clinical Quality remains a priority across the organisation.

John joined Totally as Joint Managing Director of Pioneer following the acquisition of Pioneer Healthcare in 2022, and provided day to day operational guidance to the team. John is an adult neurosurgeon with a special interest in spinal surgery and paediatric neurosurgery.

John was previously the head of department of neurosurgery at Sheffield Teaching Hospital, one of the biggest neurosurgery departments in the UK. He is a member of a number of peer review committees in England including the Paediatric Brain Tumour Registry and the Paediatric Head Injury Group.

Prasad joined Totally Joint Managing Director and Medical Director of Pioneer following the acquisition of Pioneer Healthcare in 2022.  Prasad was appointed as Chief Operating Officer in January 2023.

In January 2023 Prasad retired from the NHS where he was consultant paediatric urologist and honorary senior lecturer at the University of Sheffield and  deputy medical director of Sheffield Children’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust responsible for all governance, quality and safety issues.

Alan joined Totally on the acquisition of Energy Fitness Professionals in December 2021 and has 30 years’ experience of working in the corporate fitness and wellbeing sector. With a passion for health and fitness he started his career as a coach delivering face to face services to members, whilst developing his management skills and seeking opportunities for starting his own business.

Alan formed Energy Fitness Professionals (“EFP”) in 1998 with his business partner Rob Radford, delivering bespoke fitness and wellbeing centres to a range of corporate clients, central government departments and higher education institutions. Over 23 years EFP grew to 54 sites across the UK.

Jayne joined Totally in September 2020 and leads the HR, Recruitment and Learning and Organisational Development teams.

Jayne has more than 15 years’ experience of working in the NHS, private healthcare and AIM listed companies and is an experienced senior executive and Group HRD with skills in strategy, culture change, executive coaching, organisational design and development, L&D, start-ups, mergers and acquisitions.

Andy joined Totally as Managing Director of Vocare in 2017, was appointed as Managing Director of the Urgent Care Division in 2020 and as Deputy COO for Totally in January 2023.

Prior to joining Totally, Andy was CEO of Hardwick CCG. He is an experienced leader with a deep understanding of care provision and the complex delivery of changing systems across organisations.

With a career spanning 30 years in healthcare Andy has a good strategic understanding of care needs, successfully leading teams through major changes and developing resilient models of care to meet the changing needs of populations. He is a successful and dynamic system leader with a strong track record of creating and maintaining high performing teams and organisations.

Holly joined Totally as Director of Communications and Marketing in July 2021.  She has more than 25 years of communications experience, mainly across large technology and financial services brands such as Aviva, Zurich Financial Services and Farnell (Avnet).

Prior to joining Totally, Holly was Global Head of PR and External Communications for Farnell, with responsibility for driving high levels of PR coverage across three continents.  Prior to this, she spent the majority of her career within Financial Services where she held a number of roles within Communications and Marketing, Investor Relations, and Risk and Governance.

Holly complements her communications experience within a strong commercial understanding.

Falu joined Totally in 2019 and is responsible for the delivery of all corporate assurance functions across the Group including the provision of the Data Protection Officer role.  He has more than 30 years of experience in the NHS and more recently in the private sector, and is skilled at delivering corporate governance frameworks within complex organisations.

Falu has worked at Board level for more than 10 years, providing advice and support to Chairs, Chief Executives and Directors on comprehensive corporate governance, assurance and business management systems and processes, in line with NHS policy and best practice.

He has significant experience of providing organisational governance and assurance against a backdrop of change, ensuring organisations are fit for purpose and able to discharge their statutory duties and responsibilities efficiently and effectively.

Mark Taylor joined Totally as Company Solicitor in 2020.  He joined with over a decade of sector experience at Care UK.   Mark has been a qualified solicitor since 1999 and spent the first 10 years of his career working in private practice for large national and international firms such as Allen & Over and Kirkland & Ellis, before moving in-house.  Mark has a wealth of experience in commercial and corporate matters in addition to his experience in the healthcare sector.
